Just come across this thread.

Fantastic work GP, you did everything right, and so glad that 'Mum' came back.

I'm not totally surprised by the RSPCA, as my father-in-law had a not so good response to a query he had about a Buzzard. He withdrew his £5 monthly contribution pretty sharpish, and now donates that money to the wildlife rescue centre I volunteer at for a few hours a week.

Anyway, well done again!
