My daughter manages a large car hire branch in nearby Guildford and she called me today full of excitment. A pair of bluetits have set up home in the metal, wallhung holder in the smoking area at the back of her branch. They have made alternative arrangements for the fag ends and all her drivers keep popping out to watch from a safe distance:0 All yard activities have been moved back, amazing, the power of 2 tiny birds!

How wonderfull. Theyre a couple months late in setting up shop, maybe they got disturbed at another site.Save Red Admiral, Small Tortoiseshell, Peacock. Coma and Painted Lady butterflies. Dont cut stinging nettles in summer.
Only cut nettles grown in the shade. -

I saw a photo of the same thing in a magazine or newspaper the other week, wonder if it was the same ones?
There's a collared dove which has been nesting for the last few years on top of a light fitting above the petrol pumps at our local garage, she's there again at the moment!
