  • Fright of my life.

I got the fright of my life while sitting out in the garden last night, I heard a lot of rustling in one of my beds. I grabbed a torch & slowly went to see what it was only to discover a baby hedgehog rumidging through my veg........go on my son, enjoy......

I love hedgehogs. A couple of years ago I got home from late shift, dark in the garden but with just enough light to see what I thought was a guineapig sitting under the apple tree. (I thought one of ours had escaped from the run). Crept up on it and just as I was going to grab it and return it home realised it was a hedgehog.

Just wait for the mating season BM - it sounds like a steam train in the garden...
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

I think it's already underway as at the opposite end of the garden it was too noisy & too dark even for me to venture, I could have been eaten alive........

Ah, yes but the hedgehog in mating season sounds like a sabre-toothed hedgehog!

I was scared silly the first time I heard hedgehogs mating - I thought something had escaped from the zoo and was killing something else in my garden. Truly disproportionate to their size!

Life is too short for drama & petty things!
So laugh insanely, love truly and forgive quickly!
