not a Daddy long legs....?

......so what is it? please can anyone help?

Sorry no pic - just rushing to work when saw this chappy on my house wall.

It had the longest legs ever!!! and a tiny, tiny delicate body, grey/brown in colour. awww lovely

Legs maybe 2" long ( front ones - well more kept to the side really )

Something makes me think that while it looks very spider like is is not actually a spider at all.

But what is it....driving me nuts - I should know this.

How many legs did it have? Spider 8, insect 6. Did it have wings?

Maybe it was a harvestman?

Sounds a bit like a daddy long legs spider (Pholcus phalangioides)

TEB kinda but not quite, body was not so bulbous from what I recall,and not so segmented. It has too short 'feelers' at the front.
Mr HF just about to take a pic for me ....it's still there!
Will try and post pic over the weekend.
