Nah! Honestly, we don't give ourselves credit. And if you're anything LIKE I am, you're providing shelters for them, putting up this'n'that to attract them into your garden....

    Arr...Goo OOnnn with ya woman!
Are you up for comparing notes with me next spring?X

I hope I do have something to compare with you next spring Wellie, this year the ladybird & butterfly numbers have been down again & the more unusual birds too but at least we've had a resurrgence of cheeky little house sparrows!
Into every life a little rain must fall.

When I opened up my double glazed bedroom windows today, lots of ladybirds in the top and bottom corners of the windows. This has not happened before and as the windows get used lots, then not an ideal place for them or me. Knocked them off into the garden, as I don't want them falling on me as I open the windows.

They are not the lovely red ladybirds of my childhood, a mixture of harlequin and what I took to the bad guys.
