there were huge clumps of spawn in pond at lottie this weekend, seems very early, has anyone else got it yet? Will it survive if we get another cold snap?

I don't think it really matters in my pond if I lost the lot I would be fairly sure more would appear the following day.
Busy little bees those frogs.

I've got some in the garden as well, one in a small pond and the other in a green tray filled with water! Seen several frogs this year as well, the dog was very interested!Rachel

We have a shallow puddle that forms near our back door, its about 1/2 to 3/4 inches deep and about 9" by 12" in size (its tiny) - for several years I have found frog spawn in this little puddle I, with great care return it to the pond! This year so far I have on 3 occasions found a pair of frogs doing what frogs do this time of year on the drip rail of my back door - are they responsible for the frog spawn in the puddle? well they do say the frogs come back to the place they were 'born' so maybe it is them. Trying not to blush I carry the pair back to the pond - sorry chaps there is a place for everything, and its not on my back door !!!
