    A very very tiny thing.

It's impossible to see as the photo is too small.

      Better picture

Around a thousand of these were lying in a yard. At first glance, queen cells from beehive however they are slightly larger. Mostly a waxy substance so have you any idea what produced these ? Let me know please........

I thought expanding foam too?? It's about an inch long and 1000's in yard!!

Feels waxy apparently we thought bee wax but too big

They are now thinking birds? I know if one of the hens have been off lay I can get a rubbery thing? but this sounds way too many.....

Is your friend anywhere near the sea? I've seen waxy stuff like that deposited on our beaches - it was cooking fat, dumped in the sea

Can you break it open? Is there anything inside it?

No, they have tried to squish them but they are hard/solid? I will try and get a sample and cut into it/

                              Hello, how intriguing!
I wondered what the small square of white is thats embedded in the object? It looks manmade to me. Go on, cut it open (and stand well back!)
