We've got one of those camera in bird boxes and have been watching the progress of a pair of blue tits. As I watch now there are three just hatched babies wriggling about. Far more interesting than watching that wedding

As you say, the next generation, great to watch them develope! & the rate the adults return with food.
Seems to be a good amount of natural food about for them at the moment in this neck of the woods.
I just hope the mortality rate is up on last year, had one nest last year, all 8 chicks starved.

It looks llike there's just one egg left to hatch now. There were eight eggs but struggling to count how many hathclings there are. I want to convince myself it's seven but they're all piled on top and around each other - when Mrs Tit is not obscuring my view entirely.
Sorry to hear about yours last year Paul, this is the third year in a row they've used this box and they've always managed to get to fledging. Then they just have the neigbours cats to outwit. They seem to be finding them plenty to eat; yesterday one ate a caterpillar that was nearly as big as it was itself. you can almost see them growing they get big so fast
