    Just spotted this lovely little slow worm in our garden. Even more reason to try to keep next door's horrible cats out!!

          Babies! Lucky you munch

          I've read that you can attract them by putting something down in the garden that absorbs heat, like some tin roofing or black plastic. We had a metal tray that we had moved out of the greenhouse temporarily into our unkempt bit of garden - we lifted it up and there he/she was! Now that I know they are around I'm definitely going to try to create a slow-worm friendly patch
