  • Good morning

This is a piccy of my morning visitor in the gh..... a friendly little chap(pess) . obligingly sat for a portrait then let me gently lift him/her outside onto the dalek . Then with a bit of a chirrup off he/she went. Now was it a greenfinch or a siskin I can't decide ?

Hi, well it's neither a siskin or a greenfinch. Not sure for definite but I think it's one of the Warblers, because it has a pointed bill (for eating insects, not seeds). Lucky you.

Chiff chaff seems to be a likely candidate.........or willow warbler ...they are pretty similar.

Could it be a Garden Warbler? Beautiful bird whatever it is.

I think you need to hear them to differentiate.
