Not that I'm a huge fan but we used to have them nesting under our eves every year since I don't know when, even with 3 cats lurking in the garden at some point in the day. Haven't seen any this year anywhere. Maybe it's a question for the RSPB.

We have had loads the last two years, even with lots of cats in the village....having said that it was probably about 8/9 years since we have had so many.
Had a whole load of them on the bird feeders earlier this year ... but I haven't seen them for a while so I will keep a look out when I put the feed out again.
We have 300 at last count that visit my neighbours garden. The RSPB didn't believe her count (on those charts that you submit or something) and came out to verify heh
Not seen any here for a couple of months - we used to get a fantastic display every evening. Now it's Canada Geese - about 100 of them - in three groups coming in to the reservoir out the back. Noisy boogers!
