If you wish to encourage more sparrows google 'sparrow terrace nest box'. You can buy ready made or there are plans to make your own. Threes nest boxes in one and as sparrows are gregarious they work very well. I can vouch for that I have up to 14ish squabbling over fat balls at any one time.
