    I saw the first swallows yesterday. Is summer on the way?

    I have seen 3 the last 2 mornings on my way down the village and got 2 baby blue tits fluttering about the garden the sunshine in March must have got things going. jacob

      I saw a couple about 3 weeks ago but I haven't seen them since, I think they have taken the summer with them

        i have a couple of breeding pairs in the stable they come every year plus what i think is a pied wagtail building a nest there just get fed up of putting babies back in the nest come summer one last year was determined to jump out every day

          My husband saw one on the way to work this morning. We reckon he was the advance party ready to tell the others not to bother just yet.

            We saw lots this last week (we were on holiday in Devon).

            so yes, Summer is on its way!
