  • A serin!

    ...never heard of them nor seen one before but this is what we had in our garden!





    apparently it's not often found in the UK- but fairly common over here and it's genetically the nearest finch to a canary!

    I think that we had some a couple of winters ago, picking over the big pile of manure at the back of the house. Haven't seen them since though . Beautiful birds

      I love it when they're feeding then as you walk past them and the whole flock goes whoosh up in the air at once - such a flash of bright yellow, really pretty birds

          Nicos!! what a superb sighting, such a rare find these days. More so in Britain
          Mostly May, (Sep-Oct) if we are that lucky My hat off to you.
