I'm crazy about hummingbirds. I wish someone would colonise Europe/Africa with them.

Hummingbirds only live in the Americas, but every once in a while a bird escapes from captivity in Europe and other parts of the world. If a large number escaped, chances are they would breed.

Ever heard of invasive species and the harm they can do?

Not all non-native species become invasive. We all have non-native plants in our gardens.
What harm could the hummingbirds do? Drink nectar and pollinate flowers?

The hummingbird moth is non-native and yet so welcome here... why not hummingbirds?
