A drive through for hedgehogs might work. AS long as the openings about 4"x4" (10cmx10cm)it should be fine although I suspect it won't be deep enough to keep cats and foxes away from the food.

I was going to post that a combination of the partition and my own cats kept the thief away but I took my cats for a walk and when I came back the partition was pulled down and the food was gone so I've re-erected the partition and refilled the food but it looks like I'll have to do some remodelling tomorrow.

I'll measure them up but the garage has smaller pedestrian doors at the back too, and that ramp has a space beneath it. The things people throw away!

        Remodelling has now been completed.

I dismantled a cheap willow trellis from B&M and fixed it into the feeding station with cable ties.

The problem now is I just can't get the tune from the 80's cartoon "The cat came back" out of my head.

Here's a photo of the finished remodel.

If it works I'm thinking about plastering it and hanging a little hedgehoggy picture on the wall so they feel more at home.

Don't they need a little light to read the paper?

I've got a Solar light in the roof so that's sorted.

You're so thoughtful and considerate. They'll thank you for it one day

Brilliant idea! Let us know if it works ok and it keeps that cat out.

                    "But the cat came back
                    the very next day,
                    The cat came back
they thought he was a goner,
                    But the cat came back
                    he just wouldn't go away"

                    Now I'm getting frustrated.

On the plus side a few more days of this and it will be so huge it won't be able to walk.

It's been awhile since my last report and since then there have only been hedgehogs visiting however they are getting cheeky.

Normally I put their food out at about 9:30 at night but last night I was a little late and went to put the food out at 10:00pm and the cheeky swine was sat in the box waiting to be fed. At this rate if I'm late again then it's going to come through the catflap and start looking round the house.

Love it, would love to have something like this. but don't think hedgehogs can climb to my roof terrace lol.

I notice you are thoughtful and put a Disney story in there, maybe they will audition for future Toy Story type films!

Was woken up last night at 1:00am by one of my cats destroying one of the carpets which is his signal that he wants to go out (he could have used the cat flap but that would've been too much effort) so when I let him out I found one of my other cats looking in the Hedgehog feeding station and had the thieving cat pinned in there. Unfortunately me opening the back door distracted my cat that was outside and thieving cat managed to get away hotly pursued by two of mine.

The war against thieving cat resumes.

I might have won the war. I've used "Scratch No More" from Kleeneze on the outside and the partitioning wall and no sign of thieving cat and the hedgehogs are feeding fine.
