        Hawthorn blossom is a knockout at the mo; a grove of blackthorn is highly scented too but I think its the effect of having it en masse. Single flowers may not be that strong.

            Sounds like Hawthorn to me too (May blossom). The smell is really powerful at the moment - really sweet and you don't even have to put your nose up to the flowers, you can smell it way off. I love the smell.
