Love it, but no pond unfortunately (will put one in when we finally get to move house... but no movement on that at the mo and am most frustrated - think this should be on the Minor Rant thread!!)
If the river hasn't reached the top of your step, DON'T PANIC!
In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

I have a pond (of sorts).
However, mine is clogged with water lilies?

I have been informed it is illegal to remove them.
I now despise water lilies.
Its spot the Water Lily time! All I can see are Iris leaves.
If you've planted water lilies , or whatever, in YOUR pond, you can unplant them too. You wouldn't do it in a natural pond in the wild, but your garden is your garden to do with as you wish.
Oh, my bad.
I don't know my stuff, but did not plant any of it.
ok....iris and I can throw these out? YaY!
This was the local watering hole prior to the installation of the water mains.
And yes it is a bit shallow, Wayne.
Maybe a foot deep, but surely a frog or two could live there.
Or a tiny goldfish.
Y'all have made my day.
Thank you!

Rip 'em out. Maybe leave a few for character. They spread well. I grow mine outside the pond in the damp ground alongside. You'll probably find that you already have frogs in there so go carefully with your clearance.
