  • Young hare!

Yup- just wandering around our front gardening- having a nibble of this - and a nibble of that!

Must have been about 3 months old from it's size but it already had wonderfully long upright ears and long thin back legs.

Best keep to the front of the house young man/lady...our veg patches are in the back garden/field!

Just lovely...what a fantastic start to the day

How lovely, Nicos! I've never knowingly seen a hare...... and that is not meant to be the intro to a joke

How lovely! I've not seen a hare or years. I grew up in the middle of nowhere and we'd see them pretty regularly. I know you see plenty of wabbits, but you dont see many hares do you? Are their numbers in decline?
If it comes from a plant, eat it. If it was made in a plant, don't!!

I should think round here most of them are shot.
We've seen an adult from time to time on their own and at dusk - so there must be at least 2 around for babbies!
