Can this pond be salvaged?

"Something so small", that's 9 foot by 6 foot in old money.

I'm thinking of going onto 'Freecycle' to ask about a corner bath (avocado of course) from which to make a garden pond.

Goldfish would solve the mozzie problem, but obviously you can't put any in till you've cleared the pond. But only AFTER you have put in the water!

I didn't think it was that big either! I'm surprised that your neighbours would be aware of mozzies from your pond. I have a couple of garden ponds, both left to their own devices, and there are no mozzies. Is there any other standing water nearby?

Tony - I'm sure there's plenty of avocado baths out there waiting to be turned into ponds! I'm speaking from experience having just bought a house, viewed so many coloured bathroom suites!

No other standing water nearby that I know of. However, the neighbours have both been quick to blame the previous owner for everything that they're not happy with so maybe it's just the standard blame the person who isn't here line (use that one at work when people leave!).

The thing is, once I've cleared the pond, they can't blame me!!!!
