We've been accepted. Well not us exactly but I feel that our new pond has. We found this little lady laying her eggs in it this afternoon. In a few years time, we should have dragonflies of our own.

Very nice! Mind if I ask, is that tarpaulin you are using for the liner?
          Thanks

No. Its a pond liner that we bought from off the internet.

Beautiful, I love the dragonfly and as VC says, so very elegant. For those alone I would love a pond.

Random story. I once got knocked off my bike, by a dragonfly. Hit me (or I hit it) right in my forehead.

I used to live abroad, and out there - no word of a lie they were 6-8" long. Oh and had hard heads!

I was very lucky, somehow Dragonfly larvae must have been imported with the first pond plants into my pond as the first dragonfly hatched within a year! Enjoy your pond, they bring such interesting creatures
