We have roller shutters and this chap must have roosted in the gap just where the shutter rolls into the housing (we don't shut the shutters at night in the summer). In the morning I rolled the shutter down for security as we were going out and there it was, rolling down!
We left it alone and it flew off at dusk ...
(And having seen the state of the windows in this pic, I've now cleaned them!)
It must be the time of year for them.
( phew!)
