Finally! After having this pond for over a year we have a little visitor! I am skipping with joy and hope he/she stays and brings pals! (it's a frog if you can't tell from my rubbish photo!)

Great isn't it, I normally lose a few every winter as the thick ones don't go deep enough and get frozen but am guessing that hasn't happened this last winter so I've still go the old ones as well as an army of tadpoles so am hoping they will develop into a slug eating army.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

We've no spawn or tadpoles. So this little un looks to be all alone I cleaned out the pond a couple of weeks ago so perhaps he now prefers it!You may say I'm a dreamer... But I'm not the only one...
I'm an official nutter - an official 'cropper' of a nutter! I am sooooo pleased to be a cropper! Hurrah!

Dunno what we've got in the way of plants but I always have loads of frog spawn etc, I've just left the pond to its own devices although do need to take a few inches out of it to repair a leak at some point soon which I'm hoping won't effect the ecosystem too much.

Not many about this year ....Pain is still pain, suffering is still suffering, regardless of whoever, or whatever, is the victim.
Everything is worthy of kindness.
