Bright Yellow Spider

Hi all

whilst over the allotment today I came across a bright yellow spider. Now I amnot affraid of spiders but this one made me back away because it was so unusual.

Does any know if was infact a spider or something that mimics one. Alas I was to slow to get a picture

Maybe it was one of these Crab Spiders - Misumena vatia - UK Safari

No problem. I've never actually seen one, my buddy had one in his garden and told me about it. Like you, spiders don't bother him but this one made him think twice!
