Although if I try sowing direct nothing ever comes up worth seeing as they get slugged first - strangely (and annoyingly) self seeders do fine so I often dig them up and move them where I want.

Ive popped some more in a spare space the other day, last year I covered my seedlings with a bottle till they were a good size gave them a better chance

Simply look around and view it.
I sowed them this time last year into modules, then transplanted in position. Though I thought they wouldn't come to anything, they did, even after greenstick fracturing because they were too far apart and unsupported
