I have hundreds in the cold frame. I ignore them and they run away from me. Funny, I'm not scared of them but they do crop up in nightmares. Hubby will confirm I tried pushing him out of bed and hitting them off him.
When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.Comment

We had a house spider in the greenhouse last year called Sid the useless Spid. Time and again when a fly landed in his web Sid would jump out into action but instead of getting on with it he'd dance about like a proper amateur. Invariably the fly would go into panic mode and make good it's escape leaving Sid messing about.Location ... NottinghamComment
