  • Chard Attack by Muntjacs

I went down to the lotty this morning to be greeted by two Muntjacs nibbling away at my Chard. They're usually quite jumpy animals, but seemed unfazed by the car, so I just sat there watching for awhile - I'm not that fussed about Chard anyway and so was happy to leave them munching away. It was a treat to see such beautiful animals up close - I normally just see their back end as they jump over the fence.
What do you get if you divide the circumference of a pumpkin by its diameter?
    Pumpkin pi.

How lovely. They're beautiful little things.
Pain is still pain, suffering is still suffering, regardless of whoever, or whatever, is the victim.
    Everything is worthy of kindness.

Your lucky if they usually go. They really don't care around here and there is one near my uncle that will chase dog walkers. Ruddy things. Although their barking does still amuse me even after 2 years of hearing it

I grew it once and even my OH, who can be relied upon to eat just about everything presented to him, refused after about the 3rd or 4th meal. Wish we did like it as it grows really well here. I wonder if I picked the leaves too big. Could I try it again without anyone noticing??
