I find newts from time to time while weeding the more neglected corners of my garden. Can anyone tell me what I should do? I'm reluctant just to leave the weeds to take over. I also have frogs and toads but they aren't such a worry.
Carry on as usual they will move on in their own time. They do like to play dead whilst they know you are about though, which gets a bit worrying but that is their defense mechanism.
