Hello all,
I've been thinking about getting a wildlife camera. Something to monitor the garden overnight so I can see what turns up.
I'm not expecting a lot, as I'm in an urban environment with neighbouring gardens on three sides. I know I'll get foxes, and cats defecating in my asparagus bed but I'd like to see what else turns up.
My requirements are:
Good quality pictures / video.
Motion activated would be handy, but the option to run 24/7 if required.
If I could set it up so I could watch it remotely on a mobile device (tablet / smart phone), that would be excellent. Is that even possible?
Ability to move it about if necessary (e.g. I might want to position it in front of the pond for a night, which is down the end of the garden).
Value for money. I don't mind spending a few quid (well, actually I do but I want one ) but if I spend a lot I want a lot in return.
I know next to nothing about these things, so wondered if any of you grapes already have one, and what you would recommend. What other features don't I realise I need yet?
Any input appreciated.
Cheers,
MBE
