I'm intending making a 6 foot diameter Yin-Yang pond on my allotment plot.![Smile](https://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/grapevine/core/images/smilies/smile.gif)
The intention is that one half will taper from water level to one foot (300mm) deep and the other half will be three foot (900mm) deep.
Not being a pond officianado I just wondered whether this sounded about right for a wildlife only pond?
I intend to dig this out and line it with a couple of inches of sand followed by a cheap pond liner of some description. The shallow end may be tapered to allow any wildlife that fall in by accident, to get out.![Wink](https://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/grapevine/core/images/smilies/wink.gif)
With the spoil I am going to create a curved seat set close to the pond, planted with Camomile and possibly thyme
