Im turning the back corner of my garden into a bit of a wildlife corner, its a work in progress and a bit of a project, but i am starting to see progress. Its all kind of built around the shed and the budhlia that grows from behind it, and mainly focuses on the the Bs... birds, bees & butterflies.
I plan to cover the wall and rockery in the corner with lots of trailing/climbing flowers that will attract bees and butterflies, whilst hiding the rather ugly rockery. Ive also got two bee hotels hanging nearby, which were very busy last year.

There is an assortment of bird boxes dotted around, and although I am not sure if well get any nesting residents, its nice to give the birds the options. There is certainly plenty of activity, as my garden backs onto a bit of unkept grassland and plenty of open spaces & countryside.
I made this bird box/feeder out of an old teapot & teacup, which has been really popular so far.

Ive had jays, blackbirds, sparrows, crows, magpies, jackdaws, my resident robin who never leaves and today I spotted my first tiny wren hopping about on an alpine fern.
Fingers crossed, well see lots of life over the coming months.
Would love to see/hear what youre doing for wildlife in the garden.
