Pond has been frozen solid last 2 weeks

I drilled air holes in mine with a holesaw this morning, I've had the pump off for a week or so. If it carries on much longer I'll aerate the pond manually (aka blowing down a pipe to get some oxygen into the water).

I tried entering a siting and it wouldn't let me. Apparently it's not compatible with an iPad without downloading some other format. That gets too technical for my tiny brain. So they didn't get my siting

Frog spawn 12th March. One night, lots of spawn, frog sex stopped until next year

Bob found it on Saturday (10th March) when he was walking the dogs.
Unfortunately it's in a puddle in a track. The puddle very rarely dries up but next time a vehicle drives up there, it's not going to go well .

hmmmm "Your survey findings will be fed into our WaterNet database where your data will be freely available for Government bodies, NGOs and local people to download to feed into local wildlife plans and other surveys." bearing in mind it's my back garden, I'm not too sure about that. I will email them to find out more and report back. (about 8 clumps in the pond hopefully newts too...)
