New Bird ID tool from RSPB

News just in, the RSPB has launched a bird id tool on the website http://www.rspb.org.uk/wildlife/bird...fier/index.asp. You tell it what the colours were on the bird, what sort of beak it had, what size it was - and it comes up with suggestions for what it might be. The number of birds in the database is still relatively small at 117 but at least it gives you the most common ones. They plan to add more in the next few weeks.

Great link, I live nr a wildlife reserve and get plenty of birds that puzzle me in the garden.
