I get my manure from a lady on my local freecycle site and she's asked if I'd pass on her details as she's always got more than she can deal with - so if there's anyone in or around Ashford, Kent that wants some free manure, then please PM me. All she asks is that you return the empty sacks when you've got a minute

Hi
I have found that most riding stables in my area will let you go and get manure free, unfortunately you have to bag it yourself.
I'm lucky as we get it delivered to our Lotty.Bye

Two of us on our allotment site(Meadow Avenue) get a load between us(about 6-7 tons)for £20 delivered. The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

We get free bagged manure from a local stables somewhere near Penistone. The only thing is that you collect it yourself. My Dad thinks I need manure on a weekly basis so anyone who wants any and lives near there please PM me and I will get her details and pass it on - that way I can crawl out of the manure mountain!! It is getting to the point that when he mentions it my OH groans. It is top stuff though as it is collected straight out of the field and contains no straw - pure manure (sorry).Karen

I saw this advertised on freecycle back in April and posted here. I was a little worried about the issues of byherbicides as mentioned on this thread. http://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/gra...red_31907.html
If you think it is safe to use then I could use some.BumbleB
