Our farming neighbours here always manage to have a large fountain breaking forth off the back of the slurry tank - reaches the parts others ...........

Well done Ratty - wish I could get a mini tractor in my garden to do that for me - looks a lot easier than the task I still have to face

The best was that Finlay (my farmer landlord - and friend of some 25 years) can't stand the smell of pigsh*t so ploughed all four acres straight away - and all it cost me was two bottles of The Famous Grouse !!

May sound like a daft question SW but do they just use fresh pig slurry (always smells pretty fresh to me!) or do they allow it to 'cool down' for a while first?
