Thanks for that Maureen, don't need any at the moment but that's cheaper than I've bought before. Have bookmarked for next time.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Do you know how long it lasts for as in does it have an sell by date, never really looked but just wondered.

Haven't a clue but I would think that if it hasn't got a "use by" date on it, then it should have a pretty long shelf life

That's excellent, thanks Maureen. I ran out a few weeks ago and stuffed one of my bins with comfrey leaves, the juice that runs off is just concentrated goodness, really easy and nowhere near as smelly as putting the leaves in water!

That's a really good idea comfreyfan, may have to get hold of another one just for that purpose - far less smelly!

HELP - someone tell me please - what is Bokashi? I've read down through this whole thread and I still don't know what I'm reading about.

Apologies if I seem ignorant - it's because I am.

I get mine from wiggly wigglers, 5kg bag for £22.50 + 3.75 p&P = £26.25. Even cheeper if you buy larger quantities.

Thanks a million, Lainey Lou - yet another thing I've learned from this site.

The Bokashi bin is one I'd never heard of but it looks very interesting. I've gone into the site through your link and will be going back to it shortly.

                          Thanks again.
