Choccy wrappers

I was looking at the recycling instructions on the bottom of the Quality Street tin and apparently you can compost the "cellophane" wrappers after taking off the foil. Of course first you have to eat the chocolates!

Yes i discovered this over Xmas as well, the only bit you cannot recycle (if you have a box not a tin) is the little plastic window, The box is recyclable, the aluminium around the sweeties is recyclable, the plastic wrappers, are you say are compostable.

Well done to the makers of quality street.

If only more companies did this type of info.

I feel a campaign for 2009 coming on..!!
