Hi im new here and new to growing my own veg

we have a new patch and have 3 horses with associated muck heap, how long do we have to wait before we can use the muck its currently 18 month old.

If its 18 months old then it should be fine to use now, I leave mine about 12 months.

You dont need to do anything to it, just dig it in.

You can use it now and you don't even have to dig it in.........just spread a thick layer on top of the soil as a mulch and let the worms dig it in!
