  • Fertiliser , which

I have a box of blood fish and bone and a box of growmore sitting here. The BFB I bought for planting my new fruit trees last year and then read not to use it . The growmore I bought as I thought it would come in usefull . I am growing flowers and fruit bushes in the garden , blackcurrants and gooseberries , strawberries and rhubarb and raspberries . In containers I'm growing peas, beans, cucumber ,tomato , chard , spinch and salad leaves . My question is , where shall I use each of the fertilisers , which is good for which ? . Thank you.

It has two chances , up or down.

    Hi

I've moved your thread out of Growing Techniques into an appropriate board.

    Thanks

Blood fish and bone is the organic predecessor of Growmore. They both have similar nutrient analysis both are a balanced fertiliser.

If you want to try and grow partly organic veg I would suggest using the BFB on the veg and the growmore on any inedible flowers!
