    ....put the contents of my slug pub in the compost bin?

    I wouldn't. The liquid would be ok but the slugs are meat so they would be better to go in a wormary.

        I do ... but then I do have a selection of meat eating insects etc in there too

          Ok, I was rather dim, it never occured to me to just leave them on the soil.......could be fun I've never seen a drunk bird!!

            I hate slugs! Been out visiting BIL who just had open heart surgery and got home late...popped down to the GH and picked 20+ of them off assorted plants.....even had 2 of the huge big black ones....oh I HATE slugs..............
