I set up a wormery about 18 months ago and it went really well at first. Then I moved the bin and it all went belly up. I did restock but I don't think anything good has happened. So, I need to start again. And to do that, I need to empty the whole icky mess.
Any thoughts or ideas on how to dispose of whatever I find in there? I'm thinking of digging a biiiig hole in my raised bed and burying the stuff. It's all the food waste that wouldn't go in the normal compost, but it'll have been there for quite a while. Hey, who knows, maybe the worms liked it and it's all great. Either way, it needs emptying.
So..big hole or should I throw it all in my normal compost bin? Or do I have to put it all in a black bag and put it out with the rubbish (we don't have wheelie bins).
