IIRC £8 or £9 each was the last what we had to pay in Aylesbury. Water is available. No sheds or polytunnels allowed though.

So to precis this so far...(and only for those who have said how much land they rent) in order of expense...

        clarelouise (Grimsby) = 26.6p/m2
        muckman (Derbyshire) = 12.6p/m2
        Ian (Birmingham) = 12p/m2
        johnty greentoes (Hull) = 11.2p/m2.
tyto alba (East London) = 11.1p/m2
        Bex (Birmingham) = 10.5p/m2
nick the grief (Warwickshire) = 9.5p/m2
        madderbat (Loughborough) = 8.3p/m2
        carlsewolf (Ilfracombe) = 6.5p/m2

        ...which just goes to show...
...I've too much time on my hands.

Our half plot is 20' by 55' and costs us £18 per year - this includes water and free horse manure.

Not sure how big our plot is, but we paid the princely sum of £7 for it at the end of March (pro-rata'd), so am guessing it will be around £9 for a full year.

There are no on-site facilities, no running water or manure etc. We're surrounded by small lakes/ponds so you can use the water from them. You can have sheds/greenhouse/polytunnels etc. But there was nothing on our plot, so still no shed for us as we can't afford it yet.
We have ordered 2 compost bins, and are hoping to get a waterbutt soon.

I've hit a snag here - I'm pretty sure that our half plots are not half the price of a full plot...so we're paying more per m2 than our full plot colleagues.

I think mine is what they call an "off-shore" allotment payment scheme. Ours is reletively cheap and run by the Paris Council.

                      £10 for a 10 x 20m plot (full/half?)

You must be getting tired by now Johnty- what with all that jigging around earlier, and now all these numbers!!!!
You are supposed to be on Easter Hols now!!!!!

My Easter gift to you is to work out my sums at 14p/m2.

I hope you are going to present a comparison as to whether there is a direct or indirect correlation to the property values in each locality?

By the way ...to how many decimal points are your calculations of Imperial to decimal conversions accurate??

NB- numbers is good for you!!!!
