Never ending manure!

I have a never ending supply of manure! The stables where I live let you take it for nothing. It doesnt have straw in it but wood shavings, is this better or worse than straw?

They'll take a bit longer to rot down, so if you're stacking it, turn it often to kick start the process/heat.

It won't hold moisture in the ground as well as straw Steve but once rotted down, it should be equally as good nutritionally.

You could of course get hold of some straw and layer it with the muck in a heap to rot down.
