Soil Saver Compost Bin - parts?

I have been given a Soil Saver compost bin. I really love its squat, solid look. The closing handles have been sanpped off, though and although the big stone works I'd really like to replace them. Does anyone know where I might get them from, please? I seem to be drawing a blank on Google for the UK.

It's a big stone I put on top to stop the roof blowing away. We are overlapping here aren't we?

You are obviously too technical for your own good! I would rush back out and take a picture but I do have to do some lesson planning (or wine drinking).

The handles on the top swing round to slot into the gaps on the side. It's just the ends of these that have been snapped off but it does mean that there is nothing to keep the lid in place. They are not obviously repairable hence the desire to buy replacements.

Just double checked and no. Although this site has some very cheap compost bins Soilsaver Compost Bin - for lower prices order online through Gardentoday.co.uk.
I've googled and lots of stuff comes up but it's all USA.My bin does not have a passport! Born and bred in GB.

If they've snapped off, anything you now glue back on is going to have that weak spot: I don't think it'd work.

Apart from The Big Stone, all I can think of to do is stretch bungee cords across to keep the lid down (black ones would be almost invisible)

They were snapped off many years ago, I think. Thanks for your interest TS and VVG. I'll stick with Heath Robinson for now. It's just frustrating that it's still around in the US but not here.
