As I waited for the Coach that takes me to work I noticed a starling going into a tree & there was a noise that sounded like Chicks shouting for breakfast!!!

You can bet your bottom dollar your wee red breasted pal will be back each and every time you lift a spade - and they are very brave - and greedy and will not let any other birds near you whilst they think they can get a free feed. They look very pleasant but they are tough little cookies, very aggressive and territorial - have bben known to fight other robins to the deathRat

Spring has definately arrived in West Dumbarton. The bees are out, the bats are out and the butterflies are in evidence. Saw a peacock yesterday. Everything is growing and it's possible to go outdoors in comfort. The whole world smells different.
From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

Well spring is definately here in Stockport. Buds and leaves are on trees, daffodills and tulips have already bloomed and been cut for the house before they die off and frog spawn has hatched and grown into bigish tadpoles - not got their back legs yet though.
It's also spring in East Anglia acording to my folkes who still live there. I voted in the poll for East Anglia first but couldn't vote again for the NW so you'll just have to take my word for it about Stockport. If it carries on like this we'll get a heat wave - I've jinxed it now haven't I?You can take the girl out of East Anglia but you can't take the East Anglian out of the girl. I can't afford the operation so my feet will always be webbed!
