Eskymo I have just had a look at a map of Scotland and it would appear that the areas affected are The Highlands maybe the left bit of Aberdenshire and the top bit of Perth and Kinross. As you can tell I don't think I would have made it as a weather forecaster!

Been down in London for four days visiting Mum in Law - 26 degrees Phew!

Got home (thankfully I had not seen the tv forecasts) and the polytunnel temp guage showed -2 I had left the door slightly open too in case it was sunny. My parsley seeds have died and the tomatoes (just two leaves up) look decidedly groggy. Thankfully everything else was covered with some form of plastic, so with a bit of tlc is beginning to recover.

Jennie I have just seen the gardening weather forecast for the next few days. It says it will be frost free except for Shetland. Get your polytunnel door shut!!

Thanks Lesley - surprisingly cold here today in the mist and rain!
