Can I put corn starch bags in my wormery?

I wondered if I could collect kitchen waste in those cornstarch bags that biodegrade and then chuck the whole lot in the wormery rather than having to clean out the kitchen caddy all the time. Would they biodegrade fast enough, or would the worms not be able to get to the food inside or get stuck inside and suffocate?

The answer is no! I thought the same and they take at least 6 months to start breaking up and I'm still picking bits out of the finished compost a year later. So I've stopped doing it alas but at least it will eventually rot down in landfill.
It doesn't seem to matter what size bag, I've got corn starch freezer bags which are small and they still take this long to break down.
But if you are looking at providing some nice damp nooks and crannies for your composting worms, they make lovely homes for worms....

I line my box with a folded kitchen towel, tip out the contents the wipe around with the towel and add to the bin.
