Hi all
I have recently informed my other half that e can use the left over cladding in the shed (he made me a tree planter in the summer) to make the edges of my raised beds. It would make the beds 3inch high which is all I'm really after (just want a defined space that the kids have to keep off). However he thinks this will not be suitable and the wood will split. Now he is a qualified joiner so I usually go with what he thinks, but on this occasion I'm inclined to think I'm right and not just be impatient! The wood is half inch thick and as it won't be too high I don't think there will be a problem.
Any ideas?
Thanks
