    How do you irrigate? Hosing the mulch obviously wouldn't get the water down to the soil ~ or do you have plant pots dotted around, and water into those?

      We have the driest of summers and mulch is the only thing that saves us. I'm planning to put in some pipes to add extra water this week tho. Mulch it is, folks, mulch it is.
