Thanks JM - although I like worms, don't think I fancy a worm farm just at the moment! Bernie

Ah you can get very fond of your composting worms, endless source of interest (how sad is that, I know) and my beans are thriving on my first harvest of worm compost.
They won't eat all of your veg waste (unless you're not eating your five a day) but they are little trouble and quietly get on with producing the goods.

It seems a bit hit and miss to say dilute your pony-doo water 10 - 1. It depends on how much poo is in the bag and how much water is in the bucket/barrel, doesn't it? Or am I missing something? (DON'T answer that!)

Well, its a black dustbin full of water and a half onion sack full of pony poo - anyone got a mathematical solution? or will 10 to 1 work? Bernie
Second thoughts - perhaps with all this rain we are having, perhaps the dilution won't be too much of a problem if its too strong - with the amount of rain we are having at the mo, I reckon it will be pretty well diluted anyhow!
